Monday 6th September 2004 04:27:27 AMHey I havnt told you where I work have I? Allow me to do so. Like most undergraduates I work in a supermarket part-time.
The company is called Safeway and it's located it Dewsbury. My position is as a cashier and sometimes as a Kiosk assistant. On the Kiosk I serve lottery tickets (hence the title) amongst other things.
I've been working here for nearly a year now (will be on the 9th) and it's a decent place to be at. The reason I decided to work at Safeway is because it's conveniant, only 15 minutes walking, and most importantly to avoid relying on my parents financially.
Think about it, at 18 you cant go asking for a tenner every so often can you? It's ridiculous, you've got to do your bit whilst you're living with them. If there's an 18 year old out there who's completely living off their parents, then you have got it made.
