That's pretty rich coming from you especially the fact that you allow words like "Paki" instead of Pakistani on your website. Are Pakistani not humans? Once again it is quite sad that people get a kick out of saying paki.
People have worked hard through the 70's 80's and 90's to try and stop abusive language. You've done well to allow it back in.
I don't think there's anything wrong with using the word Paki instead of Pakistani and I never will.

I, as a Paki myself, do not find it offensive or derogative if I was called one. It's people like you who make a big deal out of it and cause unnecessary attention.
As for abusive language, it has never stopped so I didn't have to do much "to allow it back in".

lads, the truth remains the word 'paki' was derived to be negative and put the person down. like you guys have said its when someone other than a pakistani calls you a 'paki' do you get offended and this is true in my case aswell.
Lets look at africans. they call each 'nigga' all the time and if someone else called them this its offensive, racist and degrading. this is same as us. the word 'nigga' been, has and will always be used to degrade the black people. but the black people, after having talked to them, admit they only use the word to 'piss off' the white people, their theory is that if you call yourself nigga then nobody will call you it becuase it losses the meaning. now you see even white men call themselves and each other nigga.

In America, "Paki" is not a bad word. Perhaps, Babu, in a different era or culture the word meant something bad. Maybe something happened to you personally with this word. I don't know, but these days, it's not even known as derogatory.

wellll, i hav always loved chavs! think about it, when you see a chav, do you get jealous and depressed????? NO!!! okay i hate chavs im 13 nearly 14 and i have to spend da hole 6 hour day wif them fink how i feel wif them graffin every where n stuff, i hate it wen ppl fink im a chav but im not. pakki how does that offend anyone? im white so i dont know but the only problem i have wif 'pakkis' is that they own all the shops lol. Actually, i would say the equivalent in the u.s to chavs in england are tools and college frat members who go to college just to party and get fucked up. Almost all of them get their degree in business because its the easiest thing to do.
