Crossing Over To The Dark Side

Saturday 17th September 2005 10:54:00 AM

Howdy peeps, know I haven't posted in a while. Not because I don't have anything exciting to say, only that I feel it would be a huge privacy concern for me if I did. I don't want relatives, friends or anyone else who knows me to come across such information on this site. For that reason after thinking for a long period of time I decided to cross over to the dark side and start an anonymous blog. After all, it's not hard to type "toseef" into a search engine and find yourself here is it?

Not to worry though, I'll continue posting here maybe not as frequently as I would do on the other one. Too many thoughts and happenings that are not suitable for this one ;-)

Moving on ... Came across The Writings on the Stall via EvilD's blog (love that guy I really do) and didn't know people could be so damn creative while they were downloading! I'm not gonna post some excerpts as some of you might be offended but I advise you to check it out, put a smile on my face for sure. I did get an urge to do some graffiti after browsing the site so be warned.

some mothers do ave em - micheal crawford as frank spencerWhen I got home from work I plonked myself in front of the telly and watched Some Mothers Do 'Ave 'Em for those of you who don't know this is only the best comedy ever. I hadn't seen an episode in ages so it really brightened up my day. Michael Crawford plays Frank Spencer absolutely brilliantly, even Dad was watching it! "Ooh Betty" sorry guys couldn't resist.

Flicked over to 4 and watched highlights of England finally snatching the Ashes off the Aussies (can never watch it too many times can ya) and needless to say Flintoff and Pieterson were the force behind the victory. I'm glad to see McGrath and Warn do down on a low, he he.

Then it was over to ITV to watch The X Factor (like the rest of the nation) and I tell ya there are some right dorks out there who think they're Timberlake or Britney. Stupid idds, little do they know they're the laughing stock of the nation and I feel sorry for them not being able to realise it.

There was one guy who was a Jacko "impersonator" who could do a few moves but couldn't sing at all, to no surprise the judges decided he couldn't go on to the next round. Pete and Sharon were like "keep it up, maybe you'll achieve your dream one day" whereas Simon Cowell was more direct and was telling the guy to abandon his dream because he would end up wasting his life but the guy was having none of it, arguing he'll be back next year. What a sucker. Oh yeah, then there was a 52 year old former computer worker who quit his job because he had a dream that he would win the X Factor this year and had been taking singing lessons for more than year. Got knocked out in the first 15 seconds. Some people I tell ya, hope no wackos are reading my blog! Shoo.

LMAO - these peeps in the X Factor crack me up - now I appreciate positive thinking in times of hardship but when it turns into kidding themselves... ah well, it gives the realists something to laff about LOL
