Blogosphere dead?

When I first started blogging it was kinda ace, discovering new blogs all the time with exciting content. Now it's the same old same old. Some are on hiatus and some have packed it in all together (recently bbcd threw in the towel, real shame). Is it me or is the blogosphere dead these days?

On the other hand there are a few who allways kicking e.g. Sobi who has a lot going on at the moment, Samarkand trying to find her Neo, Dan who can whup five posts a day, and the occasional post from Jon makes me laugh. It's all good though, keep on rocking people ...

Thu 25th May 06 06:36:33 PM 1 Lever: I know just what ya mean, dude, like all things, there are phases. The blogosphere mirrors life in a lot of ways, people come and go and sometimes they come back :) And somteimes they go again LOL

But yeah, some people drop out for ages... we'll see who has the stamina.

I think the art is to make your life exctiting enough to have something to blog about; it's like that advert on TV years ago that said about just before you die; "when your life flashes before your eyes, make sure you've got something interesting to watch"

Thu 1st Jun 06 01:55:01 PM 5 Dan: you know wot i think it is, when i first started this i used to spend a lot of time checking out new blogs and clicking on other people's blogroll - now i can't really be arsed as its pretty much the same content everywhere or everyday details of people's lives which at first seemed interesting but now its like..... okay......... There are a few who have still got some really interesting blogs and most of them are the ones who've been on it for time. But yeah, you're right, its quantity over quality now.
