A week ago me and Abz went shopping in Leeds and we went a bit crazy on the dough. I don’t shop often simply because I hate it, there’s always too many people and I can never find anything I really want. This was one of those times where I had to force myself to do some shopping, needed a wardrobe update very badly!
Anyway, 5 hours later and over £200 spent (each), we were seriously tired (us both fasting was a part of it). Also I don’t think we could have carried any more bags of shopping if we tried and on that we decided to head home.
When I got home I was like “Dayem, my mum’s gonna have a fit when she finds out how much I spent and all the clothes I got” and he’s like “Yeh, dad’s always telling me I should be saving”. I think it was a joint decision when we said we’ll leave the maal in the boot (of the car) for now and deal with it another day.
I’d not bothered about the clothes until today when I got home from Uni and Sanna, my youngest sister who’s 7, says to me “Paijaan I’m all alone at home, everyone’s gone out” “What? You can’t be alone, where’s everyone gone?” “Maany, Ayesha have gone to hospital because Maany’s got spots on his arm, and Dad’s gone with them” “What about Aapa?” “Oh she’s gone with Aunty to get a blood test”.
First I think nothing of it, then I think hey perfect opportunity to take the clothes to my room without nobody saying owt. So I hop outside and walk towards my car and click open the boot. As I load up all the bags and close the boot, she’s standing next to me, “Are they all yours?” “Yeh, now come on, lets get inside”. I step foot inside the door and mum’s staring straight at me. “I thought it was only you” I say to Sanna “And mum” she replies. Sanna Tanna, why you little …
Can’t believe it, I ended up getting a telling off after all that! Surprisingly it wasn’t so bad, went along the lines of “Do you really need all those clothes?”
I still have a lot more shopping to do, especially with Eid around the corner.

Take care!
Lol, so after all the ducking & diving from mum, she finally caught you with you kaprai LOL. The best trick is hide the clothes in the rucksack that you use for uni, that way they'll think they're you're books, lol.
