... you recieve a text message from one of your cousins, in all seriousness, congratulating you on the arrangement of your WEDDING - to one of your close cousins in Pakistan might I add (puke!) ... apparently it's been scheduled for July this year.

You'd better make it clear to your parents right away that you aren't ok with this so that the gossip or plans will stop immediately. Otherwise, you'll have a poor cousin over there looked over b/c you "rejected" her and an entire family pissed b/c good ole' granny already gave the OK.
